Riviera & Salas, 1989a [RIV89A], Riviera, 1989a [RIV89B]. A collection of 120 elite plants noted for high pod production (100-300 pods) and resistance to Black pod. Selected from the farms "San Ignacio", "La Soledad", "Villa Edna", "San Agustín Ixtacapa" and "Buenos Aires" in San Antonio and "El Recreo" in Cuyotenango in the state of Suchitepéquez. From these selections, 40 commercial clones were selected.

Lockwood, 1973a [LOC73A]. Matina x Criollo hybrids, the criollo being of different origin to the Mexican Soconusco type.
