CEPEC 11 to CEPEC 18 are selections from named varieties in Bahia. CEPEC 19 and upwards are selections from experiments in the CEPEC programme. CEPEC 89 to CEPEC 94 are selections from progenies, some Amazonian types and hybrids. Also selections from local Bahia populations and from experiments.

Bartley, 1997b [BAR97B] CEPEC 501 and upwards identify plants in the original clone collection of CEPEC which were dubiously identifed / mislabelled / mixed up. CEPEC 1000 and upwards are seedling progenies not clones. CEPEC 1008 - 1011 are progenies from selections with only white cotyledons.
